Florence R. (Dalton) Vick, age 46, died on Saturday, May 29, 1993, at home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on August 31, 1946 in Columbus to Robert and Betty (Jones) Dalton. She was married to Donald V. Vick on May 22, 1965 in Columbus. She was a 1964 graduate of Columbus High School, a waitress at the Casino Supper Club, a secretary for Wentworth in Sun Priaire and Diesel Truck Driving School in Sun Priaire and an office manager for Meister Motors in Columbus. Mrs. Vick was secratary for the Mr. and Mrs. Bowling League and was active in the Junior Bowling League. She was a member of the Olivet Congregational United Church of Christ in Columbus. Survivors include her husband, Donald, of Columbus,; three sons, Robert (Shari) of San Antonio, Texas, Randy A. of Beaver Dam, and Ryan of Columbus; a daughter, Robin Vick of Columbus; her parents, Robert and Betty Dalton of Columbus; her mother-in-law, Addie Vick of Rio; her paternal grandmother, Roselia Dalton of Dalton, Wisconsin; two sisters, Debbie (Darryl) Larrabee of Atlanta, Georgia, and Vicki (Dale) Bauer of Wausau; a brother, Gary Dalton and his friend Susan Law of Green Brook, New Jersey; a special nephew, Tom Dalton of Atlanta; and other nieces, nephews, and relatives. She was preceded in death by a son, Brian; her father-in-law, Richard Vick; her paternal grand-father; and her maternal grand-parents. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 2, 1993 at 11:00 a.m. at Olivet Congregational United Church of Christ, Columbus, with Reverend Gerald W. Schrankler officiating. Burial will be in Cambria Cemetery, Wisconsin. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday and at the church on Wednesday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. The family requests no flowers as was her wish.
