Russell M. Hoverson, age 60, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2005, at the Lodi Good Samaritan Center. He was born on June 7, 1945, in Madison, to Russell and Helen Hoverson. He spent his youth in Keyeser, where he was baptized and confirmed at Spring Prairie Lutheran Church. He married Linda Slayton on July 6, 1968. His hobbies were woodworking and collecting cigarette lighters. Russ loved cars and was most proud of his 1936 Ford Coupe. He was a member of the Lake Wisconsin Cruisers and enjoyed participating in car shows. He will be missed and mourned by his wife, Linda; his loving son, Jason (Lyndsay Reese) Hoverson; his mother, Helen Hoverson; his brother, Peter (Sue) Hoverson; his mother-in-law, Evelyn Slayton; his sister-in-law, Sara (Paul Heckman) Slayton; and numerous relatives and friends. Russell was preceded in death by his father; and his father-in-law, Woody.
