Denise J. Kuehl, 61, died on Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2007, at her home after a long 18-year battle with multiple sclerosis.
Denise was born on April 15, 1946, in Columbus, to William and Sophie Marks. She was married to Terry Kuehl on May 30, 1975, in Portage. Denise worked as a waitress in several Madison area restaurants and was previously employed at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. in Sun Prairie. Before her illness Denise enjoyed boating and fishing. In her younger years she loved dancing and ice skating.
Survivors include her husband, Terry, Fall River; two daughters, Stacey Kuehl, Appleton, and Kimberly at home; two brothers, Bill (Marlene) Marks and John (Darlene) Marks, both of Columbus; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; mother and father-in-law, Hazel and Clarence Kuehl; three brothers, Russell, David and James Marks.

Classmate Note: Denise's nickname was TC, when we were kids!! She was one of the best and fastest ice-skaters there was. She always wanted to race the boys, because she knew she was faster!!
